2. Travis Fredrick

Kudos to a job well done for backup center Joe Looney who stepped in to fill some big shoes along the offensive line. Fredrick dealt with should and neck issues during the early part of training camp and was later diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that kept him out the entire season. There were many games where the Cowboys struggled to get a consistent push upfront despite once again being one of the top rushing teams. The pass blocking took a terrible nose dive with Dak Prescott being sacked 56 times; one less than his total in his first two years combined.

The return of Frederick means the restoration of continuity along the offensive line. He will rejoin fellow pro-bowlers in Tyron Smith & Travis Fredrick to reinsert himself as the leagues best center. Most of all he will aid in restablishing the Cowboys as having one of the best offensive lines.
